Battles of the Heart
Acrylic Painting of Pomegranate-I called this one "The Fathers' heart"
The Lord places burdens in our hearts that sometimes we don't even understand. I think when He does that is because He wants us to express His heart in prayer. By placing the burden in our hearts He is revealing His heart and sends us to battle. The battles of the Father's heart have a promise attached to them. The promise is a sure victory.
For these battles we must be in tune with the Father's heart at all times. If we are not familiar with His ways and His nature, we may pray outside of His will. Sometimes we pray with focus on our experiences and not truth. Could it be that we are praying outside of what is in His heart?
Our prayers when connected with His desires become prophetic in nature. We declare what will take place and it becomes a sure thing. In addition, we must know that the Father will not send us into a battle we are not ready to win. If He places the burden is because we are the right person for the job. Pick up you sword and rise to the occasion. Your Father is sending you.
