God is taking me to a new level of faith by teaching me to pray differently. This week I realized that God is asking me to pray with the truth and not driven by the circumstances of what I see in the natural. I find encouragement in Jame 5:17 which says that Elijah was just like us but it also says He prayed earnestly. If Elijah could do it so can I. In 1 King 18 we find Elijah praying for rain when rain was needed and in the natural it did not seem possible. This is a story of faith and sight. I feel God telling me to stay connected to Him as I bring my burdens to Him. Connected to Him when what I see is very discouraging. I am to not pay attention to my circumstances but to what I know He is saying and not forget that His promises are yes and amen!!!!
Faith: taking hold of Christ, keep hold of Christ and not let go of Christ.
