God's Perspective
Watercolors of Agave from my backyard.
The Lord has been reminding me of His supremacy and power. We should not limit God. He is an amazing and a huge God! He could destroy the enemy in a second but He has chosen to let us participate in the battle. The Lord is teaching me to become a warrior that enjoys the battle because in the midst of the battle is when I get to experience His power and learn about Him. He makes things obey Him and He can give the Earth to anyone He wants (Jer 29:7). That is a new perspective of God that I am trying to learn. I realized I was making God too small.
God also wants us to learn to rest. Rest can only be achieved by conflict. If we do not have trials we do not learn who God is for us and we may not rest in the confidence that He will deliver us. I must have confidence of who God is for me in this battle. I must remain focus on the Lord and His power not in my circumstances and worries. I want to be able to say like Job said "My ears have heard of you but now my eyes have seen you". In our trials we are able to see God's deliverance and He becomes real to us. God is best heard in the storm!!!!!!
